Located at 21 Raymond Ave Ste B, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603, Fika and Hygge operates as a cafe serving Poughkeepsie in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 amβ5 pm. Fika and Hygge was such a nice little find. I grabbed an iced chai with oat milk, and it was smooth, refreshing, and not overly sweet. The cafΓ© itself has a bright, cozy feel that makes it easy to sit and relax for a while. I also liked the small snacks and little details around the shop. Iβd definitely stop in again when Iβm in the area.

Tried this coffee shop on a quiet morning and ended up staying longer than I planned. The latte was smooth and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. I also grabbed a blueberry muffin that tasted fresh and went really well with the coffee. The place had a relaxed vibe and the staff were friendly without being over the top. One small thing, it took a few extra mins to get my order, but they were pretty busy so it wasn't a big deal. Overall, a nice spot to sit, catch up on emails, or just enjoy a good cup of coffee.

We had the Valkyrie latte cold and tiramisu shaken espresso and both were amazing! I personally really enjoyed the tiramisu shaken espresso with the cold foam and would get this again. The Valkyrie has a subtle sweetness that is enjoyable.

this is my 3rd time coming to this cafe and I absolutely love it! The people that work here are super friendly. I literally love coming here! Itβs so unique Iβm so happy I found this place. I love how they have seasonal menus it gives you different options and flavors to choose from. Iβve got the lucky charm latte and a strawberry lemonade both are really good! Itβs a great place to sit, hang out with friends, or even do any type of work. :) I also bought their coffee beans so Iβm looking forward for that

Admittedly was a little skeptical coming in; a coffee & candy shop comboβ weird. Have to say though, we got The Valkyrie(iced), the Marabou(hot), a cheddar scallion pastry, a cardamom pastry, and a prepackaged Strawberry Shortcake Cookie and was impressed by all of it. The coffee specials ARE flavorful and sweet so if you're more into traditional coffee bean flavors then they're probably not for you, but we thought they were wonderful. The cheddar scallion and cardamom pastries were much more fresh than expected and both very tasty independently. If you're not a fan of cardamom or have never had it in a pastry before then I'd recommend giving it a try, but the spice is a like it or lose it kind of flavor. Fortunately, we like it. Service was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Bathroom was clean, although the hand dryer was not functioning, nor were there paper towels as a backup. The eating area was clean and welcoming. The candy section doesn't really do much for me, but it was good to see some imported Scandinavian treats regardless. I will definitely be back to what I'm calling Hicky & Fig because I'm still not sure how to pronounce Fika & Hygge. It's nice to finally see
